I think other sweeteners are in consideration, but the use of sugars as a sweetener is an established process - takes a while to replace this, no doubt. BTW many (like Zacapa) combine both glycerine and sugar already. There's a lot of BS flying around as the rum producers attempt to confuse the topi...

Recently tasted all three of these and I would rate them Port Mourant first, Enmore second and Versailes a distant third. So you can pony up three times as much for a Velier (if you can find one) or scoop up one or two of these. The PM and Enmore are maybe a click less intense than the Velier count...
