Pretty much agree with all above, I gave this rum a 4 as it is a really pleasant rum. Goes well with a medium colorado cigar and is to be enjoyed when you don't feel in the mood for lots of flavour rum, that is to say this is a subtle rum with plenty of balance and complex flavour but your taste bud...

Great review and excellent matching information, love the detail.

I gave this 5 points as it is the ducks nuts of rums. I love it.

I gave ED12 5 points it's a fantastic rum that I like equally as much as the 15 and the 21. They are different but all are wonderful. If I collected rums and didn't drink them too quickly this would be permanently on my shelf. I really enjoy a maduro wrapped full to medium cigar with this rum.

I gave this rum 3 points (of five) because it's price tag is too high for a rum that is a good rum but is topped and or equalled by much lower cost rums. For me it's worth a try (most rums are ;) ) but too expensive.

This is a favourite rum of a very close friend of mine and he always brings a bottle when he visits (I take el dorado to him). I have bought this a few times myself and you just can't beat the quality and price. Highly recommended from me.

I agree, a fantastic rum, I pay 34€ for it and that's about the limit of my comfort zone for a 'regular buy'. I won't try flavour descriptors but will say it's a rum that is a must try rum for anyone looking for recommendations.

Edit: spelling.

No, I'm not an afficianado. An enthusiastic amateur best describes me I think. Proven by my off target remarks about El dorado. I didn't know they used different blends from different stills for each aged product and didn't really notice much difference in profile in each of them except maybe the wh...

Hello

Just a quick introduction as is customary. I am a 38 year old rum appreciator that doesn't have a rum collection, instead I have a list of bottles that have made their journey through my house and inevitably into the rubbish bin. Some bottle were given a salute and were accompanied with a tear as I ...
