It seems is not available in the U.S. right now. I talked to someone at Ace Beverage in Washington D.C. who said they hope to bring it back next year.

Au Contraire...

Of course we can't speak for anywhere other than our South Florida paradise, but the best selections in the world are here. The entire line of rums made by Seale's Foursquare distillery are here...

My new bottle of Seales 10 was obtained in Orlando this past October.

Ok, so I'm wrong. The Captain found a place that carries it 40 minutes from where I'm staying. I'll have to get there next time we come down.

Best buys in South Florida...

Best buys in South Florida...

It is well known that South Florida has the best in store selections of rum and spirits, and at prices that simply can't be beat. The reason, we believe, is due to three factors: first, our significant population of people from the Caribbean, Central and South America; second, our leading position as a tourist destination from all over the world, and last a mix of both superstores and local chains that cater to them.

If anyone is visiting, be sure to drop me a PM or email and I'll be happy to point you to great stores, particularly in Fort Lauderdale, but also Miami and the Florida Keys...

Pretty Amazing Selection in Texas

Post by bearmark »

Now that Spec's has been joined by Total Wine & More here in Dallas, our selection (not to mention the prices) have dramatically improved. I haven't had any trouble finding all of the rums mentioned here, at least the ones that I was interested in. We also have a few interesting exclusives here, for example... Balcones selection of Texas Whisky. Try any one of them and I think you'll be pleased with the experience, but be warned that they're all $40-70. Since this is a rum forum, I would recommend their Rumble, which is distilled from Texas wildflower honey, turbinado sugar and mission fig.

Aren't they exclusive to Total Wine?

Exclusive Offerings

Post by bearmark »

In Texas, Seale's/Doorly's appears to be exclusive to Total Wine & More. Balcones is mostly available at Spec's, but I do see some sparse availability elsewhere.

Sorry I should have been more specific, I was referring to the Seales' products.

In Georgia, with it's arcane liquor distribution laws (only one distributor may sell a given product), the distributor with nominal rights, doesn't carry RL Seale products. How Total Wine gets it, I've no idea, but they carry both RL Seale and Doorly's.
