It was bound to happen...


For years Sue Sea and I plodded along simply doing our best to help out other rum lovers, and hopefully for all of us to learn together. At times a few brilliant posters - the kind that are attracted to The Rum Project like bees on honey, or priests on choirboys. You know - attracted. But as in life, priests come and go as it were.

Until recently.

As some of you know, we have developed a nice thematic scale of subtitiles to reward posters, starting from "Landlubber" and "Oscar" at the low end, and all the up through ten escalating levels of honor to "Cap'n" and - gulp - "Admiral" (which requires a secret but signficant number of posts). In our wildest dreams we never dreamed anyone was so driven as to reach that coveted level. Until...

da'rum, who now demands he be called Admiral Rum or Sir da'rum.

It has caused, no forced me to invent yet another level that will be worthy of at least another mountain of intelligent posts. We are confident that there's no fackin way even da'rum can reach this level, therefore we feel safe in attaching an especially rarefied name that will surely never see the light of day.

We're that confident. A da'dram to de da'rum... thanks for your many contributions and support for Caribbean rum especially!

I do like this place and I like the knowledgeable members. I like reading the posts from the members in their areas of expertise. I waffle on with crap, the others post things worth reading
