Boring Dept: Braveheart Spiced Rum - another fakakte spiced rum?

The Frozen Furball recently published one of his patented Canookie stroke recommendations. To his credit, he doesn't pretend to be independent anymore. He actually names the importer and shares what we already knew, that they were"...more than happy to accommodate me by providing me a bottle to review as well as sell sheets and pictures."

Of coooooooooourse they did. Are priests happy to accomodate choir boys, however hirstute? You bet. It gets worse. Now he not only directly quotes the sell sheets, but actually credits them! Talk about free advertising. Such a deal - give the Frozen One a bottle of cheap rum and some sell sheets, and you get not only a free ad, but a nice review. The conveyor belt runneth.

My advice to Wolfie: if you're gonna blow, charge for it.

The Furball ends with one of his standard ratings (86 for sippers, 83 for spiced shit), and then gets on his knees exclaiming "Give me another one, Mistress!". Naw, I kid the predator. He really said "...a thoroughly enjoyable diversion ...I will probably be sharing this rum with my friends on that back deck of mine this spring... It fits that relaxed, eclectic atmosphere which I enjoy so much with my friends. Eclectic atmosphere?! Apparently friend Forrest's tutoring is working out, lol.

For yet another example of another slick, meaningless site, offputting to all but monkeys, check it out: http://www.blackheartrum.com/ What's that? You find all this boring? Of course you do, that's why it's in the Boring Dept. You click, you lick - right Wolfie?

*******
Capn's Log: Of course I filled out Blackheart's bottled in Kentucky rum the standard questions: Where was it sourced, age, use of sugar/glycerol, any actual and real spices apart from their "natural flavorings", et al? Don't hold your breath.
