Older bottle of Cruzan single barrel

A local shop has one of the older bottles, this kind:

I remember buying one of these, at this point maybe 7 or 8 years ago and thinking it was good, it was my first real rum as opposed to Batshitcardi or God knows what else.

Now that I'm older and more experienced and like things like Seale's, and indie shit, and Smith & Cross, and weird single malts, is this old bottle of Cruzan still a good buy?

I actually forgot we already did the comparison, thanks for saving us the trouble. Hass, you are so right, save your money. Our initial review - one of our earliest really sucked. Honest.

But if you ever, ever run across some old and original bottles of the Cruzan's Diamond Estate 5 year, buy every one on the shelf. It was and remains amazing, and I still have a little left...
