Just tried to look on the Ron De Jeremy rum site but it's down

Is this a sign of trouble at RDJ or just some lapse?

Have you heard anything on the grape vine?

Olli Hietalahti of oneyedspirits.com was the promoter of RdJ...

...I got to know him, and exchanged more than a few emails. I've written him just now to find out what's up. In the meanwhile you just have to read the funniest review we've ever posted. It was so funny that Olli - who has a great sense of humour - actually posted it on the front page of the Ron de Jeremy website...

In Finland the authorities are hitting harder than ever against alcohol advertising, and Ron de Jeremy took a blow too - from now on, the bottle is not allowed to have Ron Jeremy's picture on it. Why? Because it link alcohol to adult entertainment, and implies that alcohol makes one sexy.

WTF alcohol is for adults duh. We are old enough to distinguish between marketing and actual behavior. They had better ban all advertising then, it's all based on sex. Sex sells, shhh don't tell the Finns.

Starting from next year, ALL alcohol advertising IS banned here, including beer, cider, etc. Up to now since 1977 it has been legal to advertise alcohol above 22% only, but no hard stuff.

Who brought this "website down" matter to our attention. My email to Olli (the main man) at Ron de Jeremy was answered:

"Hi Jimbo,

thanks for noting that. It was a domain verification thing that our server hosting company had neglected. All is good now and the site should be up within maximum 48 hours.

Other that that things are pretty good. We're in 25 countries and sales are trending nicely.
