I won't try and describe tastes except to say it tastes very similar to a Bajan rum, not only in taste but feel and texture. When I drank it on Saturday I also had some Mount Gay XO as well. I've got to say on first impressions I don't think that Flor De Cana 18 justifies it's price tag at £54 in the UK not when I can pick up Mount Gay XO or Seale's 10 for £35 and I'd get a similar taste and feel. This is just my opinion of course. It's a nice rum, quality rum but, over priced.

If I was in a blind taste test and someone told me it was a Bajan rum I wouldn't agrue with them. I also thought Mount Gay was a better quality rum when tasted on Saturday but, I reserve judgement to change my mind in future.
