A sincere welcome to "YouHave65%ofthePostsLOL" whose email by the way, is/was "Trollolololol@lololol.lol" and who obviously is up well past his or her bedtime. But I was really both pleased and surprised by this registration as frankly, I'd assumed the percentage of my own posts was actually much higher than this.
Truth be told, this rum forum is really intended as a blog. Of the many registrations we receive and screen, I really approve very, very few. Otherwise you end up with something like the Shillery with over 4000 "members", of which only about five or so sycophantic simians regularly post in such thrilling threads as "What I drank tonight" or similar such timewasters.
How do spell b-o-r-i-n-g?
Since The Rum Project is totally non-commercial, we are not at all dependent on such trivia, now do we seek such mini-minded posts, or in this case, registrations. What really counts here are the roughly 200,000+ hits plus the long "time spent" numbers that we enjoy every month - numbers that have steadily improved.
I'll trade 200,000 monthly readers for one idiot any day, and if anybody knows idiots, I do.
Fortunately, the few sincere and well chosen registrants approved here have mostly proven to be intelligent contributors of interesting and valuable information. It's all about quality and not quantity. Their posts have been thought provoking and educational, and I am thankful for their amazing participation.
As for "YouHave65%ofthePostsLOL", I'm pleased to have been given the opportunity to address what I'm sure you meant as a compliment. I just wish you'd had the courage to actually participate and engage in serious debate. Speaking of which, what DID you have to drink tonight?
