Ron Medellin 8 Year.
Those of you who follow The Rum Project are surely aware that we feel the "sweet spot" for rum made in the tropics to be aged in the seven to ten year range. There's something lovely about a rum whose intial youth is still discernable, but who has entered what we'd call adulthood. Ron Medellin 8 Year rum is one of those.
Better yet, it was not expensive (about $19). The review is complete and will be posted shortly but in the meanwhile, don't hesitate to buy this Colombian classic and well done spirit. Stay tuned...
