More Ohio Rum: Portside Distillery

I still haven't heard back from Kevin at Seven Brothers. In the meantime, I thought I'd post this:

Portside Distillery is the first to open in Cleveland since Prohibition. (Seven Brothers is 30 minutes away.) They are making a white rum from cane sugar. They will be expanding into spiced and flavored rums followed by rye and bourbon.

As much as I like to support local and small companies, I'm not too excited about this one. I will probably getting the red rum from Seven Brothers first, and even before that I will get a bottle of Prichard's.
