Food Substitutions Dept: Orange Juice for Rum...

Post by Capn Jimbo »

The sad truth...

If we were to substitute orange juice for rum...

Image...

would become...

. . . Image
(For those who've been lost in the jungle, RM was recently outed by the 8th District Court of Appeals to contain prune and vanilla extract...)

Sad but oh so true...

What's worse....

The OJ label is absolutely real. I bought one just like it - took a drink, tasted artificial flavoring and realized it was a phonied up, orange flavoured concoction. I was fackin furious, called and wrote the company, told them they should be ashamed of themselve. The bottle I bought not only said "100% fresh squeezed orange juice", but hid the rest on the back label in tiny print.

Complete arseholes, glued to their butt buddy regulators and regulations that allow this kind of misleading marketing. What did the company say? "Oh, the juice IS fresh squeezed, but then we concentrate it for shipment and reconstitution later". Arseholes? Arseholes?! They define the term. And for RM? Same shit, different loo...
