Hi all, I am Luke from the greater Boston area. Years ago I started getting into scotch. My wife is not a fan of the peaty stuff I love so we are putting in a home cocktail bar that has transitioned from the more classic cocktails to tiki. In the last 8 months I went from ~5 bottles of rum to >60. I am here to continue learning. I have come to the conclusion that some of the older rums have just too much sugar in them, I call it cocktail in a bottle syndrome. I have been on the hunt for rums with less sugar added if you all have any suggestions I would be eager to hear them.
