(my wife was giving me the giddy up so rushed these pics a bit)
So I hope that helps in your planning Bearman.
I am a supporter of local shops when they aren't part of a big mega conglomerate. As it stands Citi is huge and imo charges a fair bit too much over the 'fair' cost on a few things and charges a little too much on some others. The Smith and Cross at 24/25€ is borderline for me. I would only buy here if I was cornered and couldn't wait for online orders. That being said on my usual buy I would probably pay 20-40€ more on 4-5 bottles here as I would online.
Don't know what kind of rum da'Rum is dramming these days, but I want some! I bow to his clearly superior energy, and commitment to serving other rum lovers. All I can say is "Right on, dude!"...
I was going to Citi anyway as I needed a Lamb for a roast and some kangaroo steaks for the week, so to stop and take some quick pics with the phone was not a huge effort. Another 5 mins on the geek box to post here and voila a handy reference for Bearman before he embarks on the big drive over the border.
Did you notice the Mount Gay XO?
It has risen 5€ in recent times and on this shelf lost 300 ml in volume.
That was quite a selection. Compared to Danish liquor-shops this is huge. The prices here are 30-50% cheaper than in Denmark, so that isn't really an issue. Usually i try to support the small speciality shops at home when I buy booze, but when I on a rare occasion get to Flensburg my main priority is a large selection. Although at some point I am going to have to visit some of the small rumverschnitt- shops. Thanks once again.
