WM Cadenhead
Just picked up a couple of bottles of Cadenhead's blended Demerara rums.
Absolutely outstanding. Anyone based in the UK I urge you to take the plunge and try the following. You will not be disappointed.

The 1842 is bottled straight from the cask and the Classic Dark Rum is down to the last few bottles.
You can get the 1842 in a 20cl bottle if you just want to try it (I wish I could get more rums in this size bottle at 5cl or 3cl samples aren't enough)

Might nudge them up the list Dai. I would urge you to get these though if you enjoyed the Mezan Guyana - these are a step up.Dai wrote:Looking forward to your reviews of these. The Fat Rum Pirate wrote:Just picked up a couple of bottles of Cadenhead's blended Demerara rums.

The shop in Campbeltown is a great place to visit - so many goodies!
Cadenhead's has magnificent Whiskies and Rums. The people behind the selections, and in sales, are really nice folks too, much like the good people of Springbank. Last time I popped in the shop at Campbeltown I got 28yo Demerara for about 80 - 90 GBP. Fabulous!!! My last purchase is the 1975 Demerara bottled at 40,6%.

The London shop does not have much old rums now. Looks like mostly rums from 2000s ....JaRiMi wrote:The shop in Campbeltown is a great place to visit - so many goodies!
